Summary
Broader youth health/education grant, not an accessibility-specific stream. Regional grant program with 13 Canadian Community Boards funding local grassroots health and education programs for youth up to age 29. Preference for programs using technology to increase effectiveness; common technology purchases (tablets, smartphones, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Suite) are excluded. TELUS lists 'Creating or enhancing sensory-friendly environments' among the technology-related programme examples that receive preference. Up to $20,000 per single-year grant. TELUS closed its 2026 application cycle; the funder states that applications submitted before August 25, 2026 receive a decision before the end of the year. The 2026 windows were January 30, April 10, July 31 and October 2, and the October window did not run. TELUS has not published 2027 dates and offers a form to register for notice when the 2027 programme opens. No Community Board region covers Yukon, the Northwest Territories or Nunavut, so National means the ten provinces.

Canadian registered charities or qualified donees (CRA). Program must support youth up to age 29 in Canada facing obstacles. Must focus on health or education. Must operate within one of 13 Community Board regions. 12-month gap required between applications; maximum 3 consecutive years then 12-month pause.
