Summary
Funds community-led nonprofit initiatives that help people access jobs, stable housing, and support to start or grow a small business. This is a broader community fund: disability and accessibility fit within those three focus areas is Easy Surf’s assessment, rather than a dedicated eligibility category stated by TD. TD considers one request per organization, generally no more than 20% of its operating budget, limits capital costs to 20% and evaluation costs to 10% of TD funding, and typically caps support at $500,000 per year for up to three years. The portal remains open year-round; review deadlines are January 8, April 9, July 9 and October 8, 2027, with late applications moved to the next round; audited statements are required for requests over $100,000.
Eligibility
Canadian registered charities, Canadian nonprofits and municipalities proposing measurable initiatives in jobs and workforce development, housing affordability, or entrepreneurship and small business support. For-profit and non-Canadian organizations, public or separate elementary and secondary schools, private or religious schools, worship-focused organizations, and lobbying, political, trade, advocacy, chamber and professional organizations are excluded; faith-based organizations offering broader community benefit may be considered.
