Summary
Empowers communities through adaptive sports by funding the purchase of adaptive sport equipment, so local programs can expand opportunities, remove barriers and make sport more inclusive. Community grants go up to $5,000 and are assessed on community impact, the number of participants who will benefit and the potential to build inclusive adaptive sport opportunities. In 2026 the foundation partners with Sunrise Medical to supply RGK sport chairs, and requests that RGK equipment can meet get priority. The 2026 application window runs September 1 to October 1, 2026.
Eligibility
Canadian community programs that deliver adaptive sport. The funder publishes no further organizational criteria, such as non-profit status [Unconfirmed]. Individual athletes apply to the separate High Performance Grant, which this entry does not cover.
