Eligibility
Incorporated Saskatchewan non-profits in good standing with Information Services Corporation whose primary purpose and activities benefit Saskatchewan communities; or municipalities, First Nations, health regions, libraries, schools or school boards proposing community-based, community-led programs. All applicants must be in good standing with the CIF. Programs must primarily benefit people living off-reserve; a program delivered on-reserve may be eligible if it primarily benefits people living off-reserve. Capital expenses such as construction, renovation or repair of buildings and facilities, playgrounds, and equipment not directly related to program delivery are not eligible, although up to 20% of a grant may cover general operating expenses, which the funder says can include facility repairs.
