Summary
Two-stream provincial adaptive sport grant program administered by Sask Sport. The Adaptive Sport Club Development Grant funds new developmental sport programs or expansion of existing programs for people with disabilities, including a new age group, gender identity group, classification, adaptive sport or geographical location; general enhancements such as increased practice time, coach development or administrative improvements do not qualify. The Adaptive Sport Equipment Grant funds purchase of sport equipment required for people with disabilities to participate in organized community and club-level sport. Contact: Ashley Hay, Adaptive Sport Consultant, ahay@sasksport.ca, 306.220.9655. Two intake windows per year: endorsement deadlines March 22 and September 22; PSO submission April 1 and October 1. Next intake: September 22, 2026.
Eligibility
Direct applicants must be eligible Provincial Sport Organizations, Multi-Sport Organizations or Sport, Culture and Recreation Districts. Clubs and community organizations cannot apply directly; they must be members in good standing and route an endorsed application through their PSO, MSO or District before the Trust Fund deadline. Retroactive costs are ineligible. Club Development does not fund equipment; equipment requests use the separate Adaptive Sport Equipment Grant.
