Summary
Quebec tourism accessibility grant administered by Kéroul and funded by the Quebec Ministry of Tourism. Three Streams (Volets) support tourism establishments to make their infrastructure and services accessible to persons with disabilities. Since inception the program has supported more than 100 projects across Quebec; as of March 31, 2024, 59 new establishments had received funding in the 2022-2024 cycle. Streams 1 and 2 can be combined up to a $150,000 total subsidy. Total program envelope is $6 million. Applications submitted to paet@keroul.qc.ca; contact 514-252-3104. Eligibility
Legally constituted Quebec tourism businesses (OBL), nonprofits (OBNL), cooperatives, recognized Indigenous organizations/communities/nations (recognized by the National Assembly), and groupings of these applicants. Applicants must do business in Quebec and operate in an eligible tourism sector. Sector-specific accreditation may apply: tourism lodging operators must hold a registration number under the Loi sur l'hébergement touristique; outfitters must hold a valid permit; adventure tourism operators must hold (or be working toward) Aventure Écotourisme Québec Qualité-Sécurité accreditation. Government bodies and municipalities are excluded, with a limited exception where a non-governmental organization operates an eligible tourist site, service, or activity on municipal or MRC property under a written agreement.
