Summary
Provides funding for community-led park and playground projects in Calgary. Eligible projects include new or improved playgrounds, community gathering spaces, park enhancements, and other outdoor amenities that create more inclusive, accessible spaces. Program is currently under review and applications are closed; new guidelines expected later in summer 2026. Contact: programs@parksfdn.com. Eligibility is limited to projects within Calgary’s municipal boundaries; the scope value Alberta is the schema-level province.
Eligibility
Calgary-based non-profit organizations, educational institutions, societies or groups with valid non-profit registration, an active Project Support Program account, and a project within Calgary's municipal boundaries that will be publicly accessible. Applicants must complete the Project Support Program application first.
