Summary
Provides capital funding for community-led park and playground projects in Calgary. Eligible projects include new or improved playgrounds, community gathering spaces, park enhancements, and other outdoor amenities that create more inclusive, accessible spaces; the foundation prioritizes projects that reduce barriers and enhance safety, accessibility and year-round use. Operational, programming and other non-capital costs, and anything bought before the grant is approved, are not funded. The 2026 intake closed October 1, 2026, and the funder says intake dates will change in 2027; no 2027 dates are published yet. All project funds must be deposited in the Project Support Program account, and applications need three quotes or one quote with a procurement justification. Contact: programs@parksfdn.com. Eligibility
Calgary-based non-profit organizations, educational institutions, societies or groups that are registered non-profits and have an active Project Support Program account or submit a complete Project Support Program application with the grant application. The project must be within Calgary's municipal boundaries.
