Summary
Supports established non-profit programs and services in Ontario seeking to expand, improve, or adapt to increase community impact. Funding $50,000 to $200,000 per year over 2 or 3 years ($100,000 to $600,000 total); up to 20% capital. Projects helping populations experiencing barriers, including barriers related to abilities, score under a 10 per cent assessment criterion. OTF publishes no accessibility-specific funding priority. Application window: October 7 to November 4, 2026.
Eligibility
Charities registered with the CRA, or not-for-profit corporations without share capital incorporated in Ontario or federally, for at least two years; First Nations; Métis Chartered Community Councils through the Métis Nation of Ontario Secretariat; and municipalities, county library boards and local services boards serving 20,000 people or fewer (two funding priorities only: physically active lifestyles, and arts, culture and heritage). Collaboratives led by an eligible organization qualify; organizations set up to support other organizations do not. Other than small municipalities and First Nations, applicants need at least three active board members. Programs must serve Ontario in arts and culture, environment, human and social services, or sports and recreation, and must be proven programs seeking to expand, improve or adapt.
