Summary
Annual grant supporting smaller Canadian organizations that provide direct support to youth mental and physical health. One of three focus communities (added in 2025 per the main programme page, which the disability sub-page dates to 2024), applied for through two application streams. This stream specifically funds initiatives for youth living with a physical disability, with a focus on physical activity-based programs that also support mental health. Awardees are selected with input from a Youth Advisory Committee of people with lived experience. 2026 intake closed March 9, 2026; communication to applicants began early May 2026. Eligibility
Canadian charitable organizations, or organizations affiliated with a qualified donee, providing direct physical-activity initiatives that promote mental health for youth in Canada living with a physical disability. Applicants must have an organizational budget of no more than $4 million. Organizations not led by people with a physical disability must demonstrate partnership with people with physical disabilities; preference is given to disability-led organizations. Ineligible: administrative costs above 10% of the request, initiatives without intentional mental-health outcomes or direct participant engagement, regranting, research, events, fundraising, conferences, capital funding, political or lobbying organizations, and projects benefiting people outside Canada.
