Summary

Funds a collaborative, province-wide virtual event that raises awareness of including people with disabilities and is open to everyone, held on December 3. The reimbursement grant is shared across the event; one selected organization receives the grant and distributes funds to the partners; the split is discussed with successful applicants. Eligible costs include sign language interpretation, real-time captioning, disability-related equipment rental, speakers and technology; successful applicants sign a joint grant agreement, and an organization cannot be approved for both the local and provincial grants. The 2026 deadline was September 30; the next intake is unannounced.

Eligibility

Organizations applying to co-host an inclusive, Alberta-wide virtual event as one of up to three selected partners. A legal entity must accept and distribute the funding, with an authorized signatory.
