Summary
Funds community events that raise awareness of including people with disabilities and are open to everyone, in person, virtually or in a hybrid format. Reimburses eligible costs including sign language interpretation, real-time captioning, disability-related equipment rental, speakers and hall rental. Alcohol, event-planning or delivery staffing, take-away items and holiday parties are ineligible; an organization may apply for both event grants but cannot be approved for both. The 2026 deadline was September 30; the next intake is unannounced.
Eligibility
Community groups and agencies collaborating as a committee to host an inclusive public event in Alberta on or around December 3. A legal entity must accept the funding, with an authorized signatory.
