Summary

Helps skating clubs build inclusive programming for skaters with physical, cognitive or sensory disabilities, funding additional coaches or program assistants, adaptive equipment such as on-ice frames or walkers, inclusive club events, competition support, and program fees or ice time. Structural items such as ramps are not funded. Broader scope: from 2026-27 the fund also supports skaters who are under-represented in the sport or face economic barriers. Two intakes a year, October 18, 2026 and January 22, 2027; funding is paid half on approval and half after reporting, and full funding requires meeting Skate Canada Program Delivery Standards. The fund covers clubs in Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut; because Geographic Scope holds one value, this entry is filed under Alberta.
