Summary
Annual capital grant for small projects and retrofits that improve accessibility for people with disabilities and older adults. 2026-27 cycle was the third round (after 2024-25 and 2025-26). Eligible projects include accessible washrooms, ramps, elevators and lifts, automatic door openers, mobility mats at beaches, charging stations for mobility devices, barrier-free paths of travel, accessible pool access, and accessible seating. Priority for projects that go above and beyond AODA and the Ontario Building Code. 2026-27 cycle closed May 7, 2026; next intake expected spring 2027.
Eligibility
Municipalities, incorporated not-for-profit organizations, and Indigenous governing bodies in Ontario.
