Summary
The grant stream of the Enabling Accessibility Fund, funding small-scale construction, renovation, retrofit and communication technology projects that make communities and workplaces more accessible for people with disabilities. Typical projects include ramps, accessible doors and washrooms, screen reader devices and hearing loop systems, and accessible playgrounds. EAF applies flat rate costing to all projects, and its published calculator covers 14 listed project activities. A 25 per cent leveraging contribution and its exemptions were recorded from the 2024 applicant guide, whose URL now returns 404; treat both as unverified until a new call is published. The programme-level grant maximum is now up to $200,000 per project, above the $125,000 ceiling of the 2024 call. The most recent call ran May 28 to July 26, 2024 and is closed; no new call has been announced.
