Summary
Funds professional Deaf or disabled artists’ practice, development and recognition in Montréal, including creation, production, placements and eligible organizational presentations. Eligibility
Professional Deaf or disabled artists, qualifying collectives, and nonprofit arts organizations or artist co-operatives on the island of Montréal. Organizations need a professional arts or artist-representation mandate, Deaf or disabled leadership and objectives supporting professional Deaf or disabled artists. Individuals must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, as must at least two-thirds of collective members and a majority of organization boards. Collectives need at least two professional artists, a Deaf or disabled member, and a majority of members including their representative resident on the island; the representative also needs Canadian citizenship or permanent residency. Teaching and training organizations are excluded.
