Summary

Broader scope: supports commercial façade renewal, with accessibility as a top-up. Base funding is 50% from $2,500 to $12,500; eligible AODA ramps, railings and door openers can add 50% to $2,500. A multi-unit bonus adds $2,500 per additional unit, up to five units and $12,500. At least three improvements are required. Applications are closed; no next round is announced. Subscribe to BusinessTO for future rounds.

Eligibility

Owners of commercial property in Toronto, or commercial tenants with the owner's permission, for buildings with commercial use at street level whose façade faces a public road or a publicly accessible right-of-way. At least three eligible improvements are required. Applications are disqualified if any improvement is completed or underway before City approval, if the property received the maximum façade grant in the previous ten years, or if the building has a place of worship, public institutional or not-for-profit use, or a residential use without street-level commercial use.
