Summary
Supports organizations addressing critical social needs across the Archdiocese of Toronto while safeguarding human dignity and promoting individual flourishing. The People with disabilities priority funds belonging, accessibility, participation, respite and caregiver support, housing, employment, community engagement, and advocacy. Capital projects qualify only when directly connected to service delivery, and grants do not typically cover 100 per cent of a project budget. The summer cycle closes August 21, 2026 and the fall cycle closes October 23, 2026; applications and supporting documents go to allocations@ccat.ca.
Eligibility
Registered Canadian charities and qualified donees may apply directly. Non-profits, community organizations, grassroots initiatives, and Indigenous organizations may apply when sponsored or trusteed by a registered charity or qualified donee. Applicants must serve Toronto, Peel, York, Durham, or Simcoe; have an active governing body; demonstrate financial stability; and provide audited or independently reviewed financial statements.
