Summary
Builds permanent, inclusive sport pathways for autistic children and youth by working directly with Ottawa community sport organizations. Two organizations are each awarded a package worth up to $2,000 in total: fully funded inclusion training for coaches, instructors, volunteers and administrators through the Coaching Association of Canada, professional assessment and funding for adaptive equipment and sensory-friendly space upgrades, and mentorship on program design and evaluation. Applicants budget for a ten-week session with one class each week, and decisions are expected by November 30, 2026. Offered by the Ottawa Sport Council and the OSEG Foundation through the Sport for All Ottawa Fund; applications opened September 10, 2026.
Eligibility
Incorporated non-profit community sport organizations (Ontario or federal incorporation number) running ongoing sport programs in Ottawa for children and youth with autism, starting within 2026 to 2027. Bursaries, benevolent funds and sport events are ineligible.
