Summary
Removes barriers to year-round adaptive sport participation for Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans and their families through programming and adaptive equipment. Grants of $5,000 to $75,000 provide one year of funding, with an interim impact meeting around six months and a written final report. Applications are closed and the next call is announced for November 2026; no exact opening or closing date is published, and enquiries go to funding@truepatriotlove.com. Equipment maintenance, events and conferences, property or infrastructure builds, partisan or religious activities and out-of-country expenses are excluded; First Responders may participate, but funding supports the military and Veteran community.
Eligibility
Canadian registered charities, including nonprofits supported by a charitable partner, delivering all funded programming in Canada for the military and Veteran community. Delivery must reflect serving members’, Veterans’ and families’ lived experience, with safeguarding, background checks, trauma-informed practice, evidence-based objectives, a measurement plan and sustainability after funding; for-profit organizations and individuals are ineligible.
