Summary

Supports projects that enhance inclusion and increase accessibility in sport and recreation for people with disabilities. Funds new programs, one-time support to expand existing programs, accessibility audits, capital initiatives including renovation and adaptive equipment, and sport and recreation events for people with disabilities. Playground projects must meet the City's Accessible Playground Design Standard. Funds must be spent by December 31, 2027. The 2026 intake closed June 11, 2026 with notification by August 30, 2026.

Eligibility

Registered non-profit community organizations incorporated for at least one year, and School Community Councils or registered non-profits applying on behalf of a school or School Board. Applicants must be based in Saskatchewan or be a provincial organization delivering services to Regina residents. Post-secondary institutions, private schools, municipal service providers, health authorities, and charitable foundations are not eligible.
