Summary
Provides up to $25,000 toward retrofitting or buying a vehicle for accessible passenger transportation, particularly in rural areas and for cross-provincial travel. Recipients must provide service for at least two years, report service data after year one and participate in provincial audits. Costs above the grant are the applicant’s responsibility. The 2025-26 intake is closed.
Eligibility
Individuals, businesses, nonprofits, Indigenous governments or organizations, municipalities and local service districts providing accessible transportation in Newfoundland and Labrador. Applicants must provide suitable vehicles and dispatch and show proof of a transportation-service licence for a van or bus.
